Building Southampton's Competitive Programming Culture.
I founded the Special Interest Group in Competitive Programming (SIGCompete) — the first society of its kind at Southampton — to train students for ICPC and its feeder contests, and I serve as a jury member setting the problems those students compete on.

Coaching Students for ICPC.
I designed and run the training curriculum for SIGCompete, covering the algorithms and data structures tested at the ICPC, UKIEPC, and NWERC. Training runs as regular weekly sessions open to students of all years and disciplines — independently verified reporting puts the society's growth at just three founding members in 2022 to 63 by 2023.
Bringing ICPC to Southampton.
Beyond training, I host competitive programming contests at the University of Southampton and lead student teams travelling abroad to compete. I secured special funding from the Head of School (Electronics and Computer Science) to sustain the programme.

I've been nominated as a Jury member for competitive programming events, where I formulate the problem sets contestants solve under contest conditions — designing questions that are rigorous, fair, and genuinely test algorithmic thinking.

Finalist, Vice-Chancellor's Awards 2024 (Teaching)
Building and running SIGCompete — from curriculum design to hosting contests to sitting on the jury — helped make me one of three finalists out of 630 applications for the University of Southampton's Vice-Chancellor's Awards in the Teaching category, 2024.
